Q I take stomach medication and an antidepressant. Can I take herbal medicine alongside them?
A In most cases yes, but you must tell us everything you are taking. Depending on the type, we advise spacing doses one to two hours apart. Do not stop existing medication on your own — we decide together when to reduce it.
Detailed Answer
Because some medications cause nausea as a side effect, what you take and since when is especially important here. Medication you take continuously is kept as it is when we begin. Please tell us whenever it changes or something is added.
Korean Medicine Clinic Perspective
Bringing the exact names and dosing times to your visit is the most accurate approach. Once symptoms settle, we set an order for which medication to try reducing first.
